I’m a freelance technology writer and consultant based in Leicester.

I love technology, and I love writing. I love the fact that my job contains the two.

I’ve been writing professionally about technology since 2007, when I joined PC Pro magazine. I spent six years at PC Pro, writing most of the PC reviews and group tests for the magazine and website. I also regularly reviewed laptops, tablets, smartphones, components and peripherals.

At PC Pro I wrote features, news stories and blog posts, and helped with proofing and editing. I attended and reported on press conferences, and travelled the world meeting with PC manufacturers and technology firms.

I left PC Pro in 2013 and have since written for TechRadar, Wired, PC Advisor, IT Pro, Custom PC, The Inquirer, Stuff, Micro Mart, Know Your Mobile, Bit-tech, Red Bull Gaming, HardwareHeaven, Gamespot and GamesIndustry.Biz.

I’ve done mobile content strategy work with The Telegraph, and have worked on copywriting projects for Scan, Overclockers UK, PNY and Corsair. I’ve produced videos for Ballistix and Kuoda PR. I’ve handled consultancy projects for small businesses and global enterprises, including accountancy firms, marketing companies and some of the world’s biggest technology manufacturers.

I also take photographs for use in my reviews and features. They’re in the gallery on the right-hand side of this page.

I’m always available for commissions for writing or consultancy work, and always eager to discuss new opportunities – I pride myself on producing high-quality, timely work, I’m happy to work autonomously or as part of a team, and I’m versatile.
